Motorcyclist injured in I-380 construction-zone crash

A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash early Saturday in a construction zone on Interstate 380 in Linn County.

Official response and confirmed impact

The crash happened around 3:24 a.m. in the northbound lanes near mile marker 33, north of the Standlea Road overpass.

The rider was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.

Incident background

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office said the rider lost control of the motorcycle after hitting an uneven part of the road in the construction area.
