Motorcyclist dead after Springfield crash

One person is dead after a crash in Springfield.

Victims and emergency response

Springfield Police spokesperson Ryan Walsh said officers were called to the crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle, in the area of Berkshire Avenue and Marsden Street, around 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday. The man riding the motorcycle was taken to Baystate Medical Center where he died.

Crash under investigation

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and the crash remains under investigation by the Springfield Police traffic unit.
