Minnesota statewide school test scores come out Wednesday

(ABC 6 News) – New statewide test scores for local schools are due out Wednesday with a new reading test and a new way to describe student performance.

The scores results from the new reading test will not directly compare to past results.

The state is also changing the terms used to describe how students performed. In the past, the scale ran from not proficient through exceeding proficiency.

Now the performance scale will run from beginner to advanced. ABC 6 News will have more on the story online and on air Wednesday.
