BPD’s homicide unit investigating serious cyclist-pedestrian collision — Police blotter

The Boston Police homicide unit is investigating a serious bicycle crash that has left a pedestrian suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Officers in the Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood responded to a radio call just after 9 a.m.

Tuesday that a bicyclist struck a pedestrian near the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and St. Mary’s Street.

Authorities said that both individuals were taken to local hospitals, with the adult female pedestrian suffering life-threatening injuries.
