Tornado Warning continues for Canyon, Cleta and Umbarger, Texas until 9:15 p.m.

A Tornado Warning remains in effect for Canyon, Cleta and Umbarger, Texas, until 9:15 p.m. CDT Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

The warning indicates a radar-detected tornado threat, with pea-sized hail also possible.

Approximately 18,641 people and five schools are within the warned area.

Residents in the affected communities should take shelter immediately in a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building and stay away from windows.
