Man arrested on statutory sexual seduction charges after Elko arrest

A man has been arrested on statutory sexual seduction and other charges after a traffic stop in Elko.

Arrest and charges

Deputies with the Elko County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Silver Street in Elko after seeing a car with a suspended Nevada license plate.

The male driver, 21-year-old Aaron Kienenberger, was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license.

A single 15-year-old female passenger was found to be inside the vehicle as well.

Police say that once the child’s parent arrived, they learned that the two had been engaged in a sexual relationship.

Charges and court proceedings

Kienenberger was booked into the Elko County Jail and faces charges of statutory sexual seduction, contributing to delinquency, driving on a suspended license, and operating with a suspended registration.
