Woman injured in southeast Fresno, California drive-by shooting, police say

– Fresno police say a 22-year-old woman was shot by someone who opened fire from a vehicle.

Officers responded to Rowell Avenue and Grove Avenue before 4 a.m. Sunday for the incident.

Police say a woman was visiting her boyfriend and was in the backyard of the residence when the shots rang out.

The woman was hit on the right arm and taken to Community Regional Medical Center.
