1 injured in explosion in Limington, Maine

The Fire Marshal's Office is now investigating the explosion on East Sand Pond Road One person is in the hospital after an explosion in Limington.

Authorities say around 9:26 a.m. on Sunday, dispatchers received reports of an explosion at a home on East Sand Pond Rd. in Limington.

When the fire department arrived, they found the homeowner with serious burns to his face, arms and chest.

He was taken to Maine Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
