Vehicle fully engulfed in flames on SR-59 in Washington County

A vehicle was destroyed after it caught on fire on State Route 59 near Hurricane.

Fire response and evacuations

Firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle fire at about 4:45 a.m. Sunday, finding the vehicle fully engulfed in flames.

According to Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue officials, both occupants had safely escaped the vehicle before the fire grew and were uninjured.
