SAS unveils new Copenhagen Airport lounge plans

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has announced the opening of a new signature lounge at Copenhagen Airport, set for June 2027.

The lounge will feature a dedicated Exclusive Zone for SAS's most loyal top-tier customers, providing a more private and elevated experience.

Paul Verhagen, Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer of SAS, stated, “Our new signature lounge will be a destination of its own, redefining the journey.

Designed with clean Nordic aesthetics and a calm atmosphere, it is built to give travellers space to breathe.”

The new lounge will be 40% larger than the current one, accommodating up to 4,000 visitors daily.

It will include 24 private work pods, family and social areas, and private hotel rooms for those needing rest between flights.

A digital occupancy monitoring system will help manage customer flow, ensuring a comfortable environment even during peak times.

This new facility, located on the fourth floor of Terminal 3, will offer panoramic runway views and cater to various traveller needs, including working, relaxing, and socialising.
