False report causes short lockdown for Rocky Mountain High School in Meridian

West Ada School District leaders said Rocky Mountain High School was placed into a lockdown for about half an hour this morning before police determined they were responding to a false report.

On social media, locals said they saw a large police presence at the school.

The spokesperson for Meridian Police said, " The school was put on lockdown out of an abundance of caution but there is no threat."
