Police search for suspect in deadly hit and run in Daly City

Police were seeking information after a driver hit and killed a pedestrian in Daly City on Sunday night.

Authorities were notified just before 9 p.m. of a hit-and-run on San Jose Avenue, near Flournoy Street. Upon arrival, officers found an unconscious elderly man in the middle of the street. First responders provided medical attention and transported the man to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The incident was being investigated as a hit and run, according to the Daly City Police Department. The suspect and the vehicle were not identified as of Monday afternoon.
