Heat shooting coach moves on to Dusty May’s new Mavericks staff

In addition to his son moving on from the Miami Heat staff to his new Dallas Mavericks staff, Mavs coach Dusty May also has hired away Heat shooting coach Rob Fodor.
The move ends 20 years of association with the Heat for Fodor, who has spent the past 10 seasons as a shooting coach/player development coach under Erik Spoelstra.
Fodor has been credited with the NBA shooting upgrades of Duncan Robinson, Max Strus, Goran Dragic, Tyler Herro and Nikola Jovic during his Heat tenure.
He also had served as a personal shooting coach for the Heat’s Tim Hardaway, Alonzo Mourning, Jim Jackson and Mike James.
