Perth Shooting: Suburb Locked Down as Police Hunt Two Suspects

A suburb south of Perth has been placed under lockdown after a man was seriously wounded in a shooting, triggering a major police search for two suspects.

Police were called to a home in Hamilton Hill at around 4:35 a.m. Sunday, where they found a man suffering from serious gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to hospital for urgent treatment.

Authorities launched a search for two suspects who were reportedly seen wearing black clothing.

Residents in the surrounding area were urged to remain indoors, lock their doors and windows, and avoid the area while police operations continued.

The investigation remains active, with officers working to locate the suspects and determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
