Logan Square Stabbing on West Armitage Avenue, Chicago

A 38-year-old man was stabbed in the back Friday night after a group of suspects approached his Hyundai sedan on the 3700 block of West Armitage Avenue in Logan Square, according to Chicago police.

He was rushed to the hospital in fair condition, while a 22-year-old man who was also in the car declined medical attention at the scene.

Police say the confrontation began just after 11 p.m. when the group approached the sedan, which had two men inside, and an altercation broke out, according to ABC7 Chicago.

During the fight, one suspect stabbed the 38-year-old with a sharp object, and the group also damaged the sedan before one suspect fled the scene, police told the outlet.
