Juvenile arrested afterguns, drugs found in bedroom

A 13-year-old boy arrested in his home after police received reports saying he had guns inside his bedroom.

Arrest and charges

Police responded to the home on Switzer Avenue around 10-45 Friday morning.

While the teen was not there, a search of his room found 3 guns, a rifle, and crack cocaine.

Officers later found the 13-year-old boy on Carando Drive, where he was arrested.
