Murder trial on track to open despite evidence issues — Edwardsville, New Jersey

EDWARDSVILLE, New Jersey — The murder trial for a man charged in a deadly Edwardsville shooting will proceed later this month despite persisting evidence-exchange issues, a Luzerne County judge ordered Tuesday.

Dunn, 37, of Wilkes-Barre, is charged with murdering 37-year-old New Jersey resident Kevin Spencer at an apartment in Edwardsville on Oct. 19.

With his trial fast approaching on Sept.

18, Dunn’s attorneys with the Wilkes-Barre law firm Dyller & Solomon have alleged county prosecutors have failed to turn over all the evidence they are required by law to give to the defense.
