Stabbing suspect arrested after police say he fled into S.F. Bay — San Francisco, California

SAN FRANCISCO, California — A person was arrested near San Francisco’s Baker Beach after authorities said he stabbed someone in the Marina District and fled the scene Saturday.

Emergency crews responded to the 100 block of Yacht Road after receiving reports of a stabbing, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

Officers found a person with an apparent stab wound and transported the victim to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The victim was not identified.

At 12:15 p.m., fire crews and police arrived at Baker Beach for a water rescue, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.
