‘He trusted you’: 2 sentenced for shooting Cincinnati, Ohio man in 2017, burning his body

CINCINNATI, Ohio — CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Two men were sentenced to more than 50 years in prison Thursday for the 2017 murder of a Cincinnati man who prosecutors said was ambushed, kidnapped, and killed before his body was burned.

William McGivens and Quincy Ray were each sentenced to 53 to 57 years in prison for the murder of Curtis Boston Jr.

Emotions ran high in the courtroom as Boston's family members spoke and held photographs of him before the sentences were handed down.

An assistant prosecutor described the killing as an “ambush,” saying more than 50 shots were fired at Boston before McGivens and Ray chased him down and kidnapped him.
