Detroit, Michigan woman accused of shooting, wounding teen sister charged

DETROIT, Michigan — A Detroit woman accused of shooting and wounding her 13-year-old sister this week has been charged, officials said.

Adriana Arnold was arraigned Thursday in the 36th District Court in Detroit on one count of careless discharge of a firearm, causing injury or death, the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office said.

A magistrate set the 21-year-old's bond at $100,000 and scheduled his next court hearing for Sept. 8.

The court also banned Arnold from possessing any firearms or dangerous weapons and ordered her not to have any assaultive contact with the victim if she posts bond, records said.
