Tornado warning issued in N.J, New Jersey. as strong thunderstorms lash region

The National Weather Service has issued two tornado warnings for multiple counties in South Jersey as strong thunderstorms have been sweeping across several areas of New Jersey. At 7:01 p.m., a tornado warning was issued for southwestern Atlantic County, southeastern Cumberland County and northwestern Cape May County, effective until 7:30 p.m.

Forecasters said radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado near Belleplain Forest, about 13 miles southeast of Millville, moving northeast at 20 mph. A few minutes later, a second tornado warning was issued for southwestern Cape May County. It is also in effect until 7:30 p.m.
