A magnitude 4.5 earthquake struck near Karluk, Alaska, on Monday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake was recorded approximately 25 miles southwest of Karluk at a depth of about 36 miles.
No Tsunami Threat Issued
Officials did not issue a tsunami warning following the earthquake.
