A man has been arrested after up to four people were stabbed on Sunday afternoon in Dublin’s Stoneybatter area.
At least one of the victims was attacked while in their doorway.
Local residents were told to go indoors shortly before 3pm on Sunday after emergency services were called to Oxmantown Road and Niall Street in Dublin 7 following a reported stabbing in the area.
A suspect was subsequently apprehended nearby on Manor Place after a garda search. It is understood he had his face covered when gardaí arrested him.
