Salford, Manchester: Emergency services are attending a fire in a synagogue – with huge plumes of smoke seen across the city.

It is believed the fire has broken out in part of the Satmar V’Yoel Moshe Orthodox synagogue, which forms part of a row of synagogues and religious buildings on Northumberland Street, Salford.

Photos show the upper stories of the building ablaze, with an enormous plume of smoke billowing from the property.
