Woman identified in fatal shooting at Etobicoke condo

Toronto police have identified the woman who was fatally shot in an Etobicoke condo early on Wednesday as 23-year-old Viyaleta Lukoshka.

Police said that, at around 4:30 a.m., they were called to the Manitoba Street and Legion Road North area for a possible shooting.

Police added that residents of the condo called security and reported hearing a violent interaction and then “the sound of a loud bang.” Security investigated and found the woman.
