Washburn University holds homecoming parade on Halloween

Washburn University held its annual homecoming parade Saturday, with streets near campus filled with Halloween activities and candy. The parade was the main attraction.

Washburn celebrated homecoming weekend with events in the parking lots and on the lawn, including brats and other activities. “It was fun; it’s always great to see how creative they get with their floats,” Taylor Romanchek, Washburn alum, said.
