Incumbency gives Democrats an edge in Michigan Supreme Court races • Michigan Advance

3, Michigan voters will elect two justices to the Michigan Supreme Court. Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Megan Cavanagh and Justice Noah Hood, both nominated by the Democratic Party, are up for reelection.

Though those races are listed as nonpartisan on the ballot, all six candidates on the ballot were nominated by political parties.
