Man arrested for homicide two years after fatal robbery-related shooting in Nashville, Tennessee

A man has been arrested in connection to a fatal robbery-related shooting that happened two years ago in Nashville.

Metro Nashville Police said Monday that detectives arrested Akeemio Johnson, 32, earlier in the day.

Johnson is suspected of shooting a man in the stomach in September 2024 during an attempted robbery.

Police said that during the 2024 incident, 37-year-old Francisco Ico Anx was outside a friend’s apartment when four people approached them, demanding their belongings.
