Highway 50 delays in Folsom, California, after vehicle goes off roadway, sparks grass fire

Traffic is delayed on eastbound Highway 50 in the Folsom area after a vehicle went off the roadway on Monday near East Bidwell Street.

The vehicle caught fire, which then led to a grass fire off the highway, according to California Highway Patrol online logs.

Fire engines are blocking the right lane. There were also some delays on westbound Highway 50, 3 Traffic Reporter Brian Hickey said.
