Woman found deceased in Carson City house fire

At 12:34 p.m., Carson City Fire Department responded to calls of a fire coming from a home in the neighborhood located south of Northridge Drive.

Fire response and evacuations

Several emergency responders arrived on scene and extinguished the fire within minutes.

A woman was found and pronounced dead in the home, according to the Carson City Sheriff’s Office.

Two other people were treated as a result of the fire.
