16-year-old dies following argument that led to shooting

A teen has died following a shooting at a Spartanburg County, South Carolina, apartment complex, according to the coroner's office.

Officials were called to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center around 1 a.m. Saturday in reference to a death that was the result of a shooting Monday, Sept. 21.

The coroner says 16-year-old Jaden Crawford was pronounced dead at 12:59 a.m. Saturday.

The shooting happened at 1200 College Pointe Lane, which is the address for Fusion Pointe Apartments. Deputies said they responded just after 1:30 a.m.
