2 arrested in connection with June shooting in Crockett that injured 4

Two men have been arrested in connection with a June shooting in Crockett that left four people injured, according to the Crockett Police Department.

The CPD said Dakenyon D’wayne Davis, 26, and Lynndelverick Concepcion Malone, 21, both of Nacogdoches were arrested in connection to the shooting.

According to the CPD, on June 13, officers responded to the 1100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard around 10:20 p.m. following reports of gunfire.

A large event with a significant number of people and vehicles was taking place in the area at the time, according to the CPD.
