Deadline for decision on TikTok’s fate set by the DOJ, as ban of popular video app looms

The US Justice Department has set a deadline for ByteDance, owner of TikTok, to sell it’s popular app or face a nationwide ban. The company, which has strong ties to the Chinese Communist Party, will be given until Dec. 6 to sell the app or see it banned in America.
