Anita Mukhey: Burnt Oak murder victim named after 66-year-old woman stabbed to death in the street

A woman in her 60s who was stabbed to death in a busy London street by a man allegedly trying to steal her purse has been named and pictured for the first time.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed officers were called to reports of a stabbing in Burnt Oak Broadway, near the junction of Limesdale Gardens, in Edgware at 11.50am on Thursday. The victim was treated for knife wounds at the scene but did not survive. She has since been named locally as Anita Mukhey.
