Scotland’s power-sharing deal collapses after SNP hold emergency meeting

The SNP has scrapped its powersharing deal with the Scottish Greens, according to reports.

The Bute House Agreement was reportedly dropped following an emergency Cabinet meeting at Bute House in Edinburgh on Thursday morning. According to the BBC Green co-leaders Lorna Slater and Patrick Harvie were seen walking out of Bute House before the unscheduled meeting officially began at 08:30.

It means the SNP will now have to govern as a minority administration in Scotland.
