Video: 1 police officer injured following protests outside parliament building in Tbilisi

Currently, thousands of people are are currently protesting outside of the parliament building in the Georgian city of Tbilisi, as footage shows the crowd outside of the building booing at officials and people seen walking inside the parliament building, with several eggs thrown at the parliament. Riot police have moved in to clear the protesters, ordering them to disperse.
Riot police engaged with protesters behind the parliament building, with reports that people began throwing water and yellow paint at the police, causing police to deploy pepper spray. At least three of the four entrances to the building were closed off. This reportedly comes after lawmakers press forward with a controversial “foreign agents” law. At least one police officer has been injured, and the Interior Ministry has said that it ‘reiterates calls’ for protesters to follow police instructions. Video:
