JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A teenager who is accused of shooting a man in Jackson has been arrested.

According to JPD, the crime occurred in the area of Jayne Avenue and Lindsey Avenue on March 1. The shooting victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Sunday, Jackson Police in a press release said Cory Mitchell, 17, has been arrested.
