Third arrest made in Tupelo shooting

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) – Captain Doug Mansell with the Police Department confirms a third arrest in a deadly shooting that happened earlier in February.

Police officers say they arrested 17-year-old Davyon Boyd. He is being charged as an adult for armed robbery.

The shooting happened February 18th nears Monument Drive.

Tupelo Police say they found 13-year-old Orelius Boys dead at the scene.

Another teenager, Davion Boyd, was shot, but his injuries were not life-threatening.

Police previously arrested Reginald Thomas and Devonta Sharkey.
