Harrisburg man charged for shooting at woman he paid to urinate on him
A York man is facing charges after he shot at a woman he’d hired to urinate on him, police say.
According to court documents, Northern York County Regional Police received a call on Nov. 19 at 5:25 a.m. from a woman who reported someone had shot at her vehicle while she was in the Days Inn & Suite parking lot.
The woman, Brittany Abosede, told police she had been at the Days Inn to meet a man who had paid her $300 to urinate on him in the hotel bathroom.
She told police that afterward, she was on her phone in her car when the man she met approached her car, banged on the window and began to yell at her.
Abosede said she noticed the man holding a handgun and began to drive away when he shot her car, according to court documents.
She told police she watched the man run back into hotel room 130.
Police say they knocked on the door of room 130, but no one answered.
Official documents show police made contact with hotel management, who told police the room was rented out to David Butts of Harrisburg.
Police were able to contact Butts, who said he was in Harrisburg.
Butts confirmed that he’d met with Abosede, and he told police that he’d noticed his wallet was missing after she left the room.
He said he went outside to confront her, and he saw her pull “something dark” from under her seat.
Butts told police he was afraid she had a weapon and that he panicked, but he didn’t recall shooting his gun.
According to official documents, police noted a bullet hole on the passenger’s side back door frame of Abosede’s car and a bullet casing in the parking lot.
Butts told police that he found his wallet in the parking lot after Abosede drove away.
According to official documents, Butts told police he would go to the Northern York County Regional Police Department Headquarters to provide a statement.
When he failed to show up, Butts told police he’d been in a car accident on his way back from Harrisburg.
A detective responded to the scene of the crash and recovered Butts’ Sig Sauer 9mm handgun and his iPhone.
Butts is facing the following charges:
Butts is currently out on a $75,000 unsecured bail, and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 4 at 2:15 p.m.
