Pro-Palestinian protesters blocking Holland Tunnel and major bridges across New York City

NEW YORK – Dozens of arrests were made after pro-Palestinian protesters blocked traffic on the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges as well as the Holland Tunnel.

The protesters gathered at the various locations around Manhattan after 9 a.m. Monday.

Around 9:30 a.m. Monday, the protesters blocked New Jersey-bound lanes of the Holland Tunnel.

Port Authority police responded and arrested 120 protesters before the tunnel reopened to traffic just after 10:30 a.m.

The latest on the protesting that has impacted major roadways in New York City.

The Brooklyn Bridge reopened to traffic shortly before 11 a.m.

The Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges reopened just before 11:30 a.m.

Video from the Citizen app showed group gathering on the Brooklyn Bridge, and protesters blocking entrances to the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg and Holland Tunnel.
