One man killed in Caledon shooting, two women in life-threatening condition

A man was killed and two women were taken to hospital in life-threatening condition in a late night shooting in Caledon Monday, emergency crews say.

Peel paramedics responded to reports of a shooting in the Airport and Mayfields Roads area along the Caledon-Brampton border around 11:30 p.m.

Paramedics said one man was pronounced dead on scene while two women were rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. They were subsequently taken to trauma centres in Toronto where they remain, paramedics added.
