One injured in Sacramento shooting

A person was injured in a Sacramento shooting on Thursday evening, according to the police department.
Sacramento police said officers responded to the shooting around 5:14 p.m. near the 3200 block of 35th Avenue.
The victim was found near Fruitridge Road and Franklin Boulevard with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and taken to a nearby hospital, Sacramento police said.
