Eric Martin: suspect remains at large after Port Arthur shooting left man in critical condition Monday afternoon

PORT ARTHUR, Texas — Port Arthur Police are looking for a suspect they say shot a man and left him in critical condition Monday afternoon.

It happened in the 2800 block of 15th St. in Port Arthur around noon.

There was a crime scene discovered in the 1600 block of Vicksburg Ave that is related to the shooting on 15th St., according to Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso.

One man was shot in the back and is in critical condition.

Police say the suspect, Eric Martin, 38, is at large. He is driving a black Hyundai SUV.

Martin is about 5’8″ tall and weighs about 205 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

He should be considered armed and dangerous, according to police.

Police say if you know or see this person or the vehicle, do not approach and call 911 immediately.
