Police investigating shooting incident at Buccan

Logan detectives are investigating after two men sustained gunshot wounds while in a vehicle at Buccan overnight.

Around 2.20am, emergency services were called to Hein Road after reports a man has sustained a gun shot wound to the face and another man had been shot in the arm.

A 24-year-old man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, sustained head injuries and was transported to hospital in a serious condition.

The 28-year-old male driver of the vehicle was shot in the arm and was also transported to hospital in a stable condition.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have seen the victim’s vehicle, a silver 2020 Kia Cerato in the Yarrabilba and Buccan area particularly in the area of Hein Road near The Aspect from 2am to contact police.
