Three teenagers injured in shooting at CTA Red Line 95th Street station

A shooting at the CTA Red Line 95th Street station Sunday afternoon left three teenagers injured, Chicago police said.

The shooting was the result of a fight that broke out between a 19-year-old man and an unknown person on the sidewalk around 2:46 p.m., police said. The 19-year-old fled into the train station and was followed by the unknown person, who then took out a gun and fired at the 19-year-old.

The man was hit in the right hand and right leg and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in fair condition, police said.

An 18-year-old sustained a gunshot wound to the left arm and was also taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition. A 16-year-old was hit in the right shoulder, right arm and lower back and was taken to University of Chicago Hospital in critical condition. Both of the teenagers were also hit by the unknown person in the train station.
