one man dead and 1 person arrested after shooting in Shively, says police

SHIVELY, Ky. — The Shively Police Department has taken a person into custody after a shooting that left one man dead Saturday afternoon.

Police say that they responded to the call of a shooting around 2:30 p.m. that occurred inside a residence in the 2500 block of Ralph Avenue.

When police arrived, they found a 21-year-old man had been shot.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect was taken into custody at the location without incident and has been charged with murder.
