one in custody following fatal Grand Blanc Township shooting

GRAND BLANC TWP., MI – One person is in custody in connection with an overnight shooting in Grand Blanc Township.

Officers were dispatched to the 7100 block of Glenmeadow Ct. around 11:25 p.m. Sunday, May 28, following reports of a shooting, according to a Monday news release.

Police said a 56-year-old man had been shot in the torso and was pronounced dead at the scene.

One person was taken into custody in connection with the shooting and there is not believed to be a threat to the public, police said.
