Fatal shooting reported at North Acadian and Gus Young, Baton Rouge EMS says

Police are investigating another shooting death in Baton Rouge. It’s the fourth deadly shooting reported in the city since Sunday morning.

A person was fatally shot on North Acadian Thruway on Monday, according to the East Baton Rouge EMS.

The shooting happened shortly before noon at North Acadian Thruway and Gus Young Avenue, spokesman Brad Harris said.

The coroner’s office has been called, Harris said.
