California earthquake: Houses ‘shake’ and people woken up as ANOTHER tremor hits

Two significant earthquakes have rocked areas in California. Shaking was felt in cities such as Sacramento and Chico in the early hours of Friday morning.

The US Geological Survey (USGS) confirmed the quake measure 5.3 on the Richter scale at a depth of 6 miles.

“Another earthquake just woke me up,” one local wrote.

Earlier today, another quake measuring magnitude 5.5 was recorded.

Another person said: “Very bad feeling that the big event regarding earthquakes affecting Northern California and Northern Nevada could be coming at any given and we are not fully prepared at all.”
