Man left with 5 broken ribs and a fractured eye socket after being knocked to ground in attack

A man has been left with five broken ribs and a fractured eye socket after an attack in North Yorkshire. 

The Scarborough man, who is aged in his forties, was in the area of Friar’s Way car park, in Scarborough, when he was attacked from behind and knocked to the ground.
